Nice family get together last weekend in Dunstable for my niece's 40th - Blood Bros (excellent production and a much deserved standing ovation at the end) Followed by excellent meal at nearby Italian Restaurant.
Rain was very welcome on Monday just a pity it also happened to be the Bank Holiday. Much needed by the garden just hope we get a bit more this month,
I've tried for a few years to grow these Poppies with seeds given by friends without success and lo and behold they spring up against a wall in the allotment!
plenty of Apples and pears but whether they will grow as big as last year is a question - during to lack of rain.
Very Hot today for Health Walk and only one Walker turned up a new one at that - enjoyable though.
