Historic Boat show weekend

Managed to get down to Canal for an hour this afternoon - stayed cloudy all day until about 4.30 when sun did appear briefly - as usual Tim was lucky with the weather - at least it didn't rain!  became very humid though - present temp 21%.  (very heavy overnight rain did flood  exhibitors marquee  though - dried out during the day ).
a few of the photos I took today

when I first started boating in the late 60's you didn't see anything but fibre class cruisers (apart from actual working boats a few of which were still working then)   now it is about one in a hundred - how times change!!    I always think there must be graveyard somewhere for fibre glass cruisers - there were so many!
                                                                        a taste of today

Sun cream and sun hats are the order for tomorrow we are told - the icre cream vendors should do well!!
